I have a b
ig day in New Orleans, LA scheduled Thursday, Feb25th. I’ve been looking forward to this day since it was scheduled a few months ago. WWL4 Morning News is a great opportunity for me to perform a new song idea for my home base. I’ll be at their studio in the French Quarter early in the morning for soundcheck and should be performing by 7am(central).
I have a few close friends joining me for the day in the Quarter. After the morning show we will be exploring the city and I’m looking forward to seeing the History Museum on Royal Street. 12noon is my performance time for WWOZ 90.7fm. I love playing at WWOZ because all friends and family from around the world can listen to it live. Streaming is free at www.wwoz.org and it’s great support for our music and for New Orleans. We will also be giving them a CD of the Westbank Expressway tracks, “Chicago” “Royal St.” & “Justice 4 Joe”. This way anyone around the world can request to hear those songs and we can spread the music global!
I worked on some music this week with Andrew Davis, Anthony Knighten, and Nick Bernard, all of which will be joining me tomorrow night for the show at Old Point Bar in Algiers, LA. 9pm(central)
