I’ve been fortunate to develop these sets on site at House of Blues. I call it home. The new phase of writing has me able to showcase a mix of sounds for tourists, and locals alike. This upcoming set will feature Earle Brown on Clarinet as we get some work in before his big China trip this summer. We have been documenting the musical development here on the website, thanks to support from Han Soto and Project7.
This organization has helped so many by bringing skin cancer awareness to the students and families, and remembering loved ones who’ve lost their battles to skin cancer. I love the people involved. They have always been supportive of my art and message. I’ve performed with Cafe au Lait at many of the events, and the Hat Run is always a fun time.
Special thanks to our friends at Dos Jefes for letting us develop the music. I’ve worked on many of Pops’songs here and the patrons are extremely supportive. This set will feature Matt Carr on Drums, Pat Pearson on Bass, and everyone’s favorite Earle Brown on Clarinet. I’m falling in love with the Sunday set and I hope to keep this routine for some time. Steady steps up the mountain we climb. Cheers!
Playing for this event was a wonderful experience. First of all, I have a huge infatuation with Louisiana Politics.
I played three of Huey P. Long’s pianos and I felt the energy.
Ghosts of Governor’s past, much love to the theatre students from LSU, their impressions were like a time travel experience.
The Mansion was spotless and gorgeous and smelled amazing from the catered areas. Special thanks to The Foundation for Historical Louisiana for letting me be a part of your experiences. I’m learning so much and I’m getting to meet what seems to be countless unique souls.
