Special thanks to the Cafe Hope Family for having us as a part of 2014′s Hope and Holidays. We had a fantastic time. The Natchez Steamboat is a true beauty. We ate and drank and listened to the great Luther Kent and the Dukes of Dixieland. One word for them, Outstanding. That’s a group of really great guys and excellent musicians. I’m honored to have shared the night with such a cast.
I have some wonderful memories made in 2014, and there have been a large number of dedicated people who helped us throughout the year.
I was fortunate to perform our national anthem for the New Orleans Zephyrs and Voodoo Arena teams. That was surely fun, they are very supportive programs. Our Mayor, Mitch Landrieu, awarded me a Certificate of Recognition as a “Poet and Ambassador of Goodwill for New Orleans”. This was such a feeling of family strength because I want our City to embrace my poetry and music very much. I am honored and very motivated by your consideration.
I would like to thank Mike Calabrese and the crew at Neutral Ground Coffee House, my safe haven.
A pivotal support for website and artistic marketing is thanks to Han Soto. I am grateful and appreciative of you and your team’s time and energy. Much love.
Cheers to Chris Serio and his marriage to Mary Clare in RoseMary Beach, Florida, that was such a wonderful experience and I am honored to have performed for it.
I say a heart filled thank you to Weddings by Allie and The Louisiana Historic Foundation for allowing me residency on Huey P. Long’s piano housed at The Old Governor’s Mansion in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am in love with that home and always enjoy playing that piano. Special thanks to Jodi Borello and the crew at Castle Theatre for their support.
Such a solid role in performing live is at the heart of musical poetic art and the musicians I’ve worked with, I am humbled by their actions and dedication. I learn so much, and they make me proud to have continued international progress with albums including:
Cafe au Lait, Pocket Full of Soul, MTheory, Definition, and The Andrew James Band.
I love you like brothers. We know the best is yet to come.
Thank you to my family, my solid rock and support system. And to all the supporters of Original Music Global. The words will come with time and ages of wisdom and experience. We will harness our tradition and make a voice for our generation. And what’s best is our heritage can always be remembered. Write, Record, Promote.
All the best to you and yours. It has been a fantastic year, and the future is bright!
